今年は本当に色んなことがありました // So many things have truly happened this year
グループでの活動としては、// As for the group activities,
やはり欅坂46から櫻坂46への改名ですね。// there is the renaming from Keyakizaka46 to Sakurazaka46
今思うと、改名するとき // When I think about it now, when we are getting renamed,
とても希望ばかりではありませんでした // I wasn't all that hopeful
応援してくださる方が誰もいなくなってしまうのではないか、という不安がありました // There was a feeling of worry that there would be no one left to support us
でも先日のデビューカウントダウンライブは // But so many people come to watch us
たくさんの方にご覧いただき、// on our debut countdown live the other day,
名前が変わっても変わらず応援してくださる方が // We could truly feel how there are people
私たちにはちゃんといてくれているんだなと実感し、// who continue to support us even though our name has changed,
とても嬉しくなりました // and it made us truly happy
本当に、ファンの皆様に救われています // We are truly saved by our fans
今年はライブや握手会等も // This year, live performances and handshake events
オンラインでの開催となり、// are conducted online,
直接感謝の気持ちを伝えることは出来ませんでしたが、// While we can't convey our gratitude directly,
櫻坂46としてのこれからの活動で // I think that what we should do is to
沢山の感謝の気持ち、// (convey) our many gratitude in our future activities as Sakurazaka46,
櫻坂46として歩んでいく覚悟を // to convey our resolution
たとえ画面を通してだとしても // to walk forward as Sakurazaka46
パフォーマンスや態度で伝えていくことが // through our performance and attitude
私たちのやるべきことだと思っています // even if it's only through the screen
また今年、改名はもちろん // While there is the renaming this year,
新しいメンバーの加入もあり、// new members also joined us,
環境が変わったからこそ // and exactly because the environment has changed
メンバーやスタッフさんとたくさん話し、// by talking a lot with members and staffs,
よりお互いの気持ちを知ることができました // we was able to understand each other better
そう思うと、ステイホームでじっくりと考える期間があったりと、グループにとっての転機が沢山あった1年だったなぁと思います // When I think about it, this year have surely been a year with many turning points for the group, including the time to think carefully during Stay At Home
そして個人としては // As an individual,
『女子高生の無駄づかい』というドラマに // I was able to appear as a regular (cast)
レギュラー出演させて頂けたこと // in a drama titled Joshi Kosei no Mudazukai
専属モデルをさせて頂いている // I was able to decorate the cover of "with"
『with』の表紙を飾らせて頂けたこと // the magazine in which I am an exclusive model of
映画初出演作となった『さくら』の公開 // The release of my first movie appearance, "Sakura"
これらの活動が特に大きかった出来事で、// These activities were particularly significant events for me,
とても貴重な経験をさせて頂きました！// I was able to had very valuable experiences!
1人でお仕事をさせていただくときは // When I am working on my own
グループを背負っている責任感から、// I have a sense of responsibility to carry the group,
よりちゃんとしなくてはと身が引き締まりますし // I work harder to do even better,
周りの共演者さん、スタッフさんに学ぶことが多く // There are many that I learn from the co-stars and staffs around me
こんなことをグループでも活かしていきたいな〜と // and my motivation for the group also increases more
グループ活動への意欲もより高まります // from thinking of wanting to make use of it in the group activities as well
来年もまた素敵な経験が出来たらいいなと思いますし、// I hope that I can have wonderful experience(s) again next year,
色んなメンバーが色々な場で学び // and I hope that by having various members learn from various places
グループがよりパワーアップできたら嬉しいです！// the group can power up even more!
2020年、// In 2020,
新型ウイルスの猛威が世界を襲い // A new virus rages across the world
想像していた年ではなかったかもしれません // and it may have become a year none of us had imagined
それでも、歌やエンタメが無くならなかったのは // And the fact of how music and entertainment did not disappear
人々がちゃんと生きようとしていたからだと私は思います // I think it's because people were trying to keep on moving
2021年は // In 2021,
少しでも早く穏やかな日常が戻ることを願って // I hope that we can return to our peaceful live as soon as possible
世界中の方々を笑顔にできる歌やエンターテインメントを届け、// And I want to support everyone, even for just a little,
少しでも皆様の支えになりたいです // By delivering songs and entertainment that could people across the world smile
今年も沢山の応援、// Truly, thank you very much
