櫻坂46の三期生、山下瞳月（しづき＝19）が、明日26日発売のシングル「自業自得」で初センターを務める。高いパフォーマンス力で注目を集める期待の星。猫っぽい？ 「ツンデレ」な素顔や、アイドル活動にかける熱い決意を明かした。【玉利朱音】

■ダンススキル Dance Skill
山下は、選抜制が導入された7枚目シングルから3作連続で選抜入り。選抜発表時は、センターを務めるメンバーの名前が最後に読み上げられるのが恒例だ。
自分の名前がなかなか呼ばれず「2作一緒に頑張ってきた三期生のメンバーがもう呼ばれていて、今作は自分は同じ場所で頑張れないのかなって気持ちもありました」と回想。「最後に名前が呼ばれたときは、『どうしよう』というよりもうれしかったです」と率直に話した。
It's a customary for the center's name to be called last. "When the 3rd members I worked hard together with in the past two singles are getting called, I thought that I won't be able to work with them again in the same place this single", so she recalled how she felt when her name isn't getting called. "When my name was called at the end, I felt more happy rather than feeling worried"
同曲は6月15、16日に行われた東京ドーム公演で初披露された。三期生にとっては初の東京ドーム。「誰もが思い浮かべるようなドームの景色が、実際に目の前にあったのが不思議な感じでした。すごく楽しかったんですけど、夢だったんじゃないかなって思うくらいの体験でした」と振り返った。The song was performed on both Tokyo Dome days, which was also 3rd gen's first time performing there. "It was strange to actually see the view of the dome that everyone imagines in mind, right in front of my eyes. It was so much fun, but it was such an experience that made me wonder if it was all just a dream", so she looked back on it.

同作は“過去の自分には戻らない”という強い信念を表現した楽曲で、美しく力強いパフォーマンスも見どころだ。山下のソロダンスでは、中高6年間所属したダンス部で培ったスキルを発揮している。The song expresses the strong belief of "not returning to past self", and the beautiful and strong performance also makes a highlight. Yamashita's solo dance demonstrates the skill she has cultivated in the school dance club that she was a part of for six years through middle and high school.
「東京ドームに向けて長く、濃く練習しました。感情を出すというよりも振りに特化したダンスだなと思ったので、また1つ櫻坂の強みを出していけるんじゃないかと思います」"We practiced long and hard for Tokyo Dome. I thought it was a dance that specializes in choreography rather than emotion, so I think it will be an opportunity to bring out another one of Sakurazaka's strengths"

■素のミーグリ
常に自然体、気ままなキャラクターで「猫っぽいね」と言われることも。「ただの気分屋なんですけど、村井（優）とかはかわいく『ツンデレ』って言ってくれます」と照れ笑い。「（ファンと交流する）ミート＆グリートでもすごく“素”で、意外って言われることも多いです」と話した。She is always stayed natural and carefree, which made people sometimes said that she is "cat-like". With a shy laugh, she said, "I'm just a moody person, but people like Murai (Yu) cutely calls it 'tsundere'. I very much act the way I am even during meet & greet, and often told that [my personality] is surprising"
「自分の思うように皆さんとお話ししている分、全部素で、全部本音です。アイドルとしての私というよりイチ“山下瞳月”と話してる感覚でずっといてほしいなと思います！」"I am talking to everyone as I want to, so it's all true and all honest. I want you to feel as if you are talking to "Yamashita Shizuki" rather than me as an idol!"
名前の通り、黒く潤んだ瞳が印象的だ。“瞳月（しづき）”の由来は「生まれたときに目がすごく大きかったから」。「加入していろんな方に名前を褒めていただくことが多くて、すてきな名前を付けてもらえたんだって実感しました」と笑顔を見せた。Just as her name suggest, her black and misty eyes are very striking. The reason her name is Shizuki is because "my eyes were really big when I was born". "I received many compliments on my name from a lot of people since I joined the group, and it made me realize that I have been given a lovely name"

グループに加入して1年と数カ月。地元は京都で、昨年2月に上京したが「1年半くらい、まだ1回も実家に帰ってないです」と明かした。“けじめ”だといい「家族に会ったり、地元の感じを思い出してしまうと活動に身が入らなくなるのが怖いんです」。It has been a year and some months ever since she joined the group. Her hometown is Kyoto, and she moved to Tokyo last February. "I haven't been back to my hometown for about a year and a half," so she revealed. "I am afraid that if I see my family or remember how I feel in my hometown, I will not be able to concentrate on my activities," so she says, and 'draw a line'.
今作の選抜発表が放送された翌日、家族から連絡をもらったという。「頑張ってねって言ってくれました」。The day after the senbatsu for this single announced, her family contacted her, "They told me to do my best"
今後の目標については「憧れや理想をあまり決めないようにしています」と話した。When asked about her future goal, she said, "I try not to set too many aspirations or ideals"
「自分の思うように進んで、卒業する時にできた私のアイドル像が（自分の）理想の形なんだと思っています」""I want to proceed the way I want to, and I think that (my) ideal idol image is the one that I have created [for myself] when I graduate."
澄んだ瞳の奥には、アイドルとしての強い決意が秘められている。Behind her clear eyes lies her strong determination to be an idol.
