眞緒さんが妄想して色々話したものを // The delusions that i talked about with Mao-san
私がメモを取って、文章にしたものなんです✨ // I wrote it down on a memo, and turned it into a story✨
今日の昼間、// In the middle of the day today too,
2人でずっとお喋りしていて生まれました。// The two of us kept talking about it.
書いてて本当に楽しかったです♪ // I really enjoyed writing this♪

カランコロン。// *sounds of a bell signaling that the door has been opened*
「あら、いらっしゃい。」// "Ara, welcome"
お店のドアのべルが鳴り、スナック眞緒の店内に眞緒ママの甲高い声が響く。// When the bell of the shop rings, the high pitched voice from Mao Mama of Snack Mao echoes inside.
バイトのまなもが手慣れたように、入口で戸惑ったようにただまっすぐ立っているサラリーマンの上着と荷物を受け取り、席へと案内する。// With a trained hand, the part timer Manamo took the coat and luggage of the salary man who stood bewildered in front of the door, and guided him to his seat.
「あら、初めてよね。」// "Ara, this is your first time here isn’t it?"
眞緒ママが尋ねるとサラリーマンは「…はい。」と頷いた。// In response to Mao Mama’s question, the salary man nodded his head and answered, "... Yes."
「じゃあまずは一杯ね。まなも〜ママお手製カクテルを作ってあげて♪」// "Well then, first let's have a glass. Manamo~ Please make Mama's handmade cocktail♪"
「えっ…ママお手製なのに私が作っていいんですか?」// "Eh... It's Mama's handmade cocktail... is it okay for me to make it?"
「いいのいいの〜♪」 // "It's okay~ It's okay~"
「一応聞きますけど飲んでないですよね?」// "Just making sure, but you're not drinking are you?"
「コーヒーしか飲んでないわよ〜♪」// "I'm only drinking coffee~"
歌うように言う眞緒ママと、冷静にツッコミを入れるバイト。その仲の良さそうな様子をぼんやりと見つめていたら、目の前に透き通った緑色の液体で満たされたカクテルグラスが差し出された。// While he was looking at the good relationship between the Mao Mama who sang her instructions and the calm and collected part-timer, a cocktail glass filled with a green liquid was presented in front of him.
「はい。どうぞ。乾杯♪」// "Here you go. Cheers"
一口飲むと、爽やかな甘さの中にほんのりとした苦味があった。その苦味がアクセントになり、なぜかとても幸せな気分になれるカクテルだった。// When taking a sip, there was a hint of bitterness in the fresh sweetness. That bitter taste became an accent; it was a cocktail that somehow made him very happy.
「落ち込んでいるみたいだけど、どうしたの?」// “You looked dispirited, what’s wrong?”
眞緒ママに尋ねられ、気がつくとサラリーマンは口を開いていた。// Being asked by Mao Mama, the salary man responded before even realizing it.
「実は彼女にフラれてしまって…」// “To tell you the truth, my girlfriend broke up with me…”
話し出すと止まらない。// And the word keeps pouring out.
「というのも原因は、僕なんです。実はとあるアイドルに夢中になってしまいまして。」// “The reason was because of me. The truth is I was getting too obsessed with a certain idol.”
「とあるアイドル?」// “A certain idol”?
「けやき坂46の齊藤京子ちゃんです。」// “It’s Hiragana Keyakizaka46’s Saito Kyoko”
その名前を聞いた瞬間眞緒ママの目がギラリと輝いた。// Upon hearing the name, Mao Mama’s eyes is filled with sparks.
「わかるわ!その気持ち!」// “I understand that feeling!”
隣でバイトのまなもも大きく頷く。// The part timer next to her also nods.
「彼女のことは大切だったさ。だけど、京子ちゃんのことは特別なんだ。」// “Your girlfriend is someone important. But, Kyoko-chan is someone special.”
眞緒ママはなにかを閃いたように顔を輝かせた。// Mao Mama’s face gleamed as if something came into her mind.
「そうだわ!みんなで京子の握手会に行って、“きょんこナース”に傷ついた心を癒してもらいましょう!」// “That’s right! Let’s all go to Kyoko’s handshake, and have “Kyonko Nurse” heal your wounded heart!”
そうして3人は握手券を手に入れ、会いに行った。// Then all 3 of them managed to get a handshake ticket, and went to see her.
握手会の帰り、サラリーマンは清々しい表情をしていた。// On their way back from the handshake event, the salary man had a bright look on his face.
「やっぱり京子ちゃんは最高だ!きょんこナースだけじゃなくて、きょんこポリスにも会いたかったな!」// “I knew it, Kyoko-chan is the best! Not just Kyonko nurse, I also want to see policewoman Kyonko!”
そんな彼の表情を見て、眞緒ママは嬉しそうに笑って尋ねた。// Seeing his expression, Mao Mama happily smiled and asked.
「そういえば、お名前聞いていなかったわ。」// “Come to think of it, we haven’t heard your name.”
「僕ですか?坂之上太郎です。」// “My name? I’m Sakanoue Tarou”
それまで眞緒ママの隣で、少し興奮で頬を紅潮させて微笑んでいたバイトのまなもが口を開いた。// Then, the part timer who’s cheeks were flushed from a little bit of excitement, said something with a smile on her face.
「あら、サカノウエなんて、なんかぴったりな名前ね。」// “Ara, Sakanoue*, it’s a somewhat fitting name”
*Sakanoue = Above the hill
それからというもの、彼はスナック眞緒の常連客となった。そうして眞緒ママと齊藤京子さんの良さを語り合うのだった。// Ever since then, he became a regular customer of Snack Mao, and he talked about the good points of Saito Kyoko with Mao Mama.
今日もスナック眞緒は大繁盛♪ // Snack Mao continues to be prosperous today too
