Q takahiro-san choreographed for akb group and sakamichi group, but is there is any member that you think to be exceptional?
Takahiro: it's hard to narrow down to just one person! there is a song that i choreographed recently, "the growing up train", and i think that the girl who centered that song is the most suited for it: fujiyoshi karin-san. she is someone so expressive. what amazing about her is how she breathe life into songs. each song came to life on its own. concert are something that she does multiple time, right? but every time she would say things like, "i think i feel scared of this song today" or "i'm really feeling something today" or "i nailed it today". every time she perform a song, instead of doing the same thing again and again, she tries to find what she can do on that day. so i think that the songs must be happy to be performed by her. they are brought to life
MC: so that means that the impression of the people who listened to the song will change? with her expression
Takahiro: that's right. it grows as if the song on itself is someone who walks along with you. fujiyoshi-san is someone who created such appeal
MC: whoa... "the songs must be happy"... she must be so expressive? her sense of feelings... but to be able to pour all of one's power into a song... what kind of sensitivity does it take? like, wouldn't she be drained after it ended?
Takahiro: it's draining, yes. it's like your soul floated away. but she had to brought it back and perform the next song. what makes it difficult is, how after singing the about the pain within one's heart, there might be cheerful "Yay!" song... i think that the way she controlled (her emotion) is where you can see her professionalism
MC: so it's not about holding back and not pouring one's strength, but how to bring it back when it's about to float away?
Takahiro: yes, like a F1 racer. how to drive on a straight road after one corner turn after another
