今の欅坂46は、// I think that the current Keyakizaka46,
決して安心して見ていられるグループではないと思います // Is a group that you cannot watch with confidence
だから皆様も不安な気持ちを抱いてしまうし // That’s why all of you are worried
悲しい気持ちになってしまうと思います // And that also what makes you feel sad
最近は21人全員が揃うことがなく、// Recently, all 21 members are not gathered
時には18人で音楽番組にも出演しました // Sometimes only 18 of us appear for music programs
前を向いてパフォーマンスをしていても // Even though i performed while thinking positively,
ああ少ないな、なんか違うな // “Ah, it’s not enough”, “Something is wrong”
と思うこともありました // Sometimes I thought about that
やっぱり、21人って大切なんだなと改めて実感しました // Once again i realize the importance of all 21 members
そんな中で、私は今泉と一緒に // And in between that, me and Imaizumi,
音楽番組での『ガラスを割れ!』披露時に // are acting as double center
ダブルセンターを務めることになりました // for Glass wo Ware performance in music programs
不安だらけでした。// There was nothing but anxiety
私たちに務まらないと思いました // I thought that we wouldn’t be able to do it
ミュージックビデオとの差が凄すぎて // The difference from the music video is too great
皆様にこのパフォーマンスを受け入れてもらえないだろうなと思いました // I thought that you wouldn’t accept this performance
でもどんな状況であってもやっぱり、// But, no matter what the circumstances are,
私の心の隅には、「人数が少ないと弱い欅坂46」に見られてしまうことが悔しいという気持ちがありました // In a corner of my mind, there’s a feeling of regret when people sees “Keyakizaka46 is weak when they are not complete (in members)”
スタッフさんとTAKAHIRO先生と // We discussed everyday
どうしたらこの状況を乗り越えられるか // With staffs and Takahiro sensei
毎日話し合いました // about how we can overcome this situation
たくさん悩ませてしまい申し訳ないです // We are sorry to bother you a lot
音楽番組を見て、こんなの欅坂46じゃないと思ってしまった方もいらっしゃったかと思いますが、// When they saw the music program (performance), there may be people who think that “This is not Keyakizaka46”, but
それはそう思わせてしまうパフォーマンスした私たちの力不足でもあると思います // I thought that it’s our lack of performance that makes people think like that
でも違うんです // But it’s wrong
人数が少なくても、本当はもっと強いパフォーマンスが出来ると思うんです // I think that even when we have less members, the truth is we are able to make a stronger performance
だからこれから先、// So from now on,
もしまたこんな状況になってしまった時があったら // If such situation ever happened again,
皆様に残念な思いをさせてしまわないようなパフォーマンスをしたいです // I want to make a performance that won’t make anyone feel regrettable
これから先、と言いましたが // And from now on, so to say,
その場が4月6日、7日、8日に開催される // In April 6th ~ 8th,
『欅坂46 2nd YEAR ANNIVERSARY LIVE』です // There will be Keyakizaka 2nd Anniversary Live
このライブに平手ちゃんは出演しません // Hirate will be absent from this live
ひらがなけやきも出演しません // Hiragana Keyaki too
そのお知らせがあり、// With that information,
平手ちゃんのいない20人だけでちゃんとライブが出来るのかと // “Can they do this without Hirate-chan and only 20 members?”
皆様をものすごく心配させてしまっていると思います // I’m sure we have caused you such worry
でも、20人でやらなくちゃいけません。/// But we have no choice but to do it with 20 members
ここで21人じゃないと出来ませんと言ったら // If we say that we cannot do it unless 21 members are present,
21人揃うまで活動することができなくなります // Then we cannot do anything until we are 21 again
それは絶対に嫌です、欅坂46が忘れられてしまう。// I don’t want that, that way Keyakizaka46 will be forgotten
武道館でのライブがなくなってしまった時 // When our chance to appear at Budokan disappear
残念という声をたくさんいただきました // We received a lot of regrettable comments
私たちのライブを楽しみに待っていてくださる方が1人でもいる限り、// As long as there is one people who look forward to our performance,
20人でもライブを開催するべきだと思いました // I think that the 20 of us should held the performance
もちろん本当は平手ちゃんもいる21人がいいです // Of course, when Hirate-chan is there, and we are complete, it’s good
ライブのリハーサルが始まりましたが // The rehearsal for live has started but,
平手ちゃんがいなくて本当に大丈夫なのかなと立ち止まってしまうこともありました // sometimes i stopped to think about whether we really be okay without Hirate-chan
だけど、私たちが弱気になっていたら // But, if we become discouraged,
皆様はもっと心配してしまう。 // People will worry even more
そんな想いを皆様にして欲しくない。 // We don’t want you to feel that
だから、今は前を向いて // So right now, we will face forward,
最高のライブをお見せできるように // And in order to give you the best live,
毎日のリハーサルを頑張ります!! // We will work hard in our rehearsal every day!
皆様には純粋に、// I hope that you can genuinely
ライブの日を楽しみに待っていて欲しいです! // Look forward for the live!
これから坂道合同新メンバーオーディションが開催され、// And from now, Sakamichi Joint Audition will be held
漢字欅に新メンバーが入って // When new members for Kanji Keyakizaka entered
もしかしたら21人選抜じゃなくなる可能性だってあるかもしれないけど、// There’s a possiblity that there won’t be anymore 21 members senbatsu
欅坂46を作り上げてきた一期生は21人だということに変わりありません。21人の絆も消えません。 // But, it doesn’t change the fact that there are 21 members of first generation, who build Keyakizaka46. The bond of 21 members won’t disappear.
そんな21人が揃うことを楽しみに待っていて欲しいというのが私の願いです。// My hope is that you can wait for the day the 21 of us will gather again.
私もずっと待ちます。// I will always wait for it
