yuzu: it was a place that is not metropolitan, yet not countryside either
hono: what club did you do?
yuzu: wind instrument in middle school. i was going-home club for high school, though. i did the wind instrument club for my three years of middle school. it was an quite intense one, though it wasn't a national competition level, everyone were motivated for it
hono: then, then how was yuzu like in high school?
yuzu: when i was in high school, i quit the wind instrument club in two months, and threw myself into study. i thought that at the very least, i should be good at studying. i studied alone. my school had a self-study room, or rather, a self-study "road", which was in a hallway
hono: ah, a school full of smart kids, huh! my school didn't have anything like that!
yuzu: hshs no, no. but yeah, i'd go there where there are not many people, such as early morning or night... while shivering
hono; shivering?
yuzu: it was really cold lol
hono: OH! FROM COLD?? i thought you were shivering from fear lol, i was just wondering, "what made her so afraid?" lol. but right, schools sure are cold, huh!
hono: and after that, you continued your academic activities even as a member of sakurazaka46, even managing to graduate. our yuzu is a hard worker! what was your driving force?
yuzu: hmm i was really desperate, so it was more like there was no other choice but to go for it? i wanted to do my activities as sakurazaka member at 100% just like everyone else, and i most definitely want to graduate from uni as well
hono; whoa! and moreover, her uni was in Fukuoka, even though her sakurazaka activities are based in Tokyo! she had to commute with plane... which sounds like a fake story, but it really happened
yuzu: hono-san was really concerned about me
hono: i really cheered for you
yuzu: i was able to join the overseas performance at the Philippines, and asked the seniors to gave me a hug there. the moment the performance ended, i have to rush out to take the first flight, or i wouldn't be able to make it to Fukuoka in time. that's why i got al the seniors to hug me as i said, "then, i'll take my leave!"
hono: you were amazing
yuzu: i was able to get through somehow thanks to the support of members and staff
hono: no, no, it was because of your effort! as someone who have worked so hard, i am sure that yuzu can go through anything just fine! we are proud of you

yuzu: tori (bird) club! do you want to join?

hono: sorry, i really can't handle birds! among all living creatures, those that are flying... i'm not good with them. but yuzu loves them
yuzu: yep. morita hikaru-san, asai konomi-chan and nakagawa chihiro-chan also love birds
hono: you all love birds, huh... like, what do you exactly like about them?
yuzu: whenever i talk about mascot characters or animals with hono-san, she said to me before, "yuzu sure likes the non-mainstream ones, huh!" lol. certainly, hono-san likes the mainstream ones instead
hono: yeah, but i'm not fond of myself who likes mainstream stuff, so i want to be someone who doesn't. but yuzu likes characters that are... quite the outliers
yuzu: yup
hono: not that i see birds are one lol
yuzu: once a magazine asked us what club do we want to form, and all four of us brought up "tori club" without any prior discussion. this is currently the club with most passion in sakurazaka right now, i wish we can go birdwatching and such, or going and listen to their voices and then try to guess what bird
hono: ??? will you be able to guess? do you feel confident about it?
yuzu: nope. i'm the most casual bird lovers. i just like their visuals. morita-san is quite knowledgeable about them. how can we do this in a radio, though...
hono: i think it might be possible...? legit bird lovers might be tuning in too, and it might convey the charm of birds to people like me
yuzu: i'd be happy if this could happen in a way one day...
hono: i will just... be looking forward to listening to it
