toyama: so before the kougen (in 4ki live), didn't you cry a bit...?
konomin: ah, this feels embarrassing... but yeah, that happened...
Toyama: what were you feeling that the time?
konomin: i'm the center of the song, and there are parts of the lyrics that i can sympathize with, it's like... there was another me who is not an idol there. that moment was... it's difficult to express, but i can be free? like, i can express what i feel within, and suddenly... it started flowing. it wasn't something that i planned. on d1 i teared up a bit, and the stage director also pointed it out with "that's amazing". but yeah it wasn't something that i planned, but with how the stage production went, i suppose it ended up being something impressive
sarina: and you are just in your first year, right? first year is when one is still overwhelmed by everything, such as your position in the songs or thinking on what song is to perform next, so to be able to immerse yourself into the song to that point and express it in your own way... that's not something that anyone can do
konomin: to be praised by such great senior of mine... i'm so happy
Toyama: have you ever met each other before?
ko: no
to: first time?
sa: yeah. but i watched her on TV and such
ko: i'm so happy to be able to meet you in person...
Kazoku
ko: since it is for an anime ost, the lyrics is rather rare for sakurazaka in which it expresses happiness, or rather, not gloomy. the MV had home video-style of the 2ki-3ki, and dance break in pajamas, which are also new for a sakurazaka mv. this going to make me sound like just another buddies, but i was happy to see a different side of my seniors
to; you are not just buddies but also someone who has been in sakurazaka for 9th year, huh? with how calm you speak
to: you have always been a fan of the group, right? what was the origin?
konomin: morita-san's face card... it made me go "ouh...", and overwhelmed me. but sakurazaka has its own unique performance, their strenght and their coolness, i was also drawn to that
to: the center of both double a-side is the "super ace" morita hikaru, whose face card is so amazing that you admire. and the other front trio is yamashita shizuki, with her amazing dance skill and a wonderful member as well. and the third person is konomi-chan... being able to stand next to morita hikaru, whom you admire... what did you feel at first?
konomin: while i feel happy, when i learned about the song and how the dance is like, i feel... well it's not exactly pressure, but because both morita-san and yamashita-san are both good dancers... i couldn't help but to feel if it's alright for me to be next to them... but i had a big desire of wanting to deliver a wonderful result as i have been chosen, so i focused myself to work hard
to: were there anything that you discussed with morita-chan and yamashita-chan? or perhaps with other members regarding this song?
ko: we did the hit campaign together, and as we communicate together, i think that I've become able to interact with them in a casual manner. they are considerate seniors, and morita-san also spoke to me about her impression on the 4ki concert like "that was really great!" during break time, they are considerate on that way as well. i think that it has been a period where we are able to deepen our relationship
to: then, what kind of song has this been to you?
ko: i think that it is a song that solidify my resolution. I've been able to join the senbatsu from the last single, but it has a coolness that is different from previous work and show an intense sakurazaka, and I've become able to see the performance of the senior i admire in much closer position. I've become aware of what i need to work hard on, and i think it has become a period where i steeled myself
