yuuka: we have ex-sakurazaka46's takemoto yui-chan as guest today, who will make her appearance shortly. yui-chan is a junior that i have always been close with since my sakurazaka days, and i also went to watch her graduation ceremony that happened the other day. she was truly so cool, i was so moved by it. we went out for a meal together on march, so today it feels kinda like our first meeting in a while, but i'm glad that we could meet up today! i hope that we can talk about a lot of things, about the past and future.
yuuka talked about receiving a speedy chopper that manually operated with hand pull. recently she went to celebrate her grandfather's birthday, and he's a good cook, even have chef license. she loved the hamburg that he made, which contains ingredients such as hijiki and lotus root, and she got him to teach her how to cook it. a lot of cutting needed to be done, and though she enjoy cutting with a knife, she think she wants to try using the chopper the next time she cooks something!
chuke: hello! please excuse me today!
yuuka: welcome! congrats on your graduation!
chuke: thank you very much! it's only something recent, this is my first job after entering my new agency, so my heart is beating real fast right now!
yuuka: zaky farm, wasn't it?
chuke: yeah, zaky farm. it really puts me at ease that my first job is with my senior!
yuuka: i'm really glad to hear that!
chuke: being able to talk with sugai-san in a radio at nippon cultural broadcasting station again makes me really happy
yuuka: right? ever since rekomen time
chuke: even though i'm not even a regular, i kept visiting now and then
yuuka: it felt like we return to that time
chuke: right, like a time slip! it feels quite strange, it makes me happy. thank you very much!
yuuka: now you returned as an adult
chuke: yeah, i have grown into an adult now. i was still an active student back then, every time i appear reporting my lack of friends at university
yuuka: and then you are able to graduate from university, then from the group as well. i hope that we can talk about nostalgic things, about the future. but first! though some of you may know already, please allow me to briefly introduce takemoto yui!
yuuka: [explaining] "and this year, at the forteen (she was trying to say "fourteenth", in english) single backs live..."
chuke - yuuka: lmao
chuka: it's difficult to say, right?
yuuka: i should've just read it as "14th (as in in japanese)"!
chuke: ikr, i didn't expect that you will actually try to read it as "fourteenth", that was so embarrassing!
yuuka: at the meeting, i read it as "14teenth" too, oh, how embarrassing!
chuke: even though she has been reading so smoothly and perfectly... thank you very much, though
yuuka: so yeah... the 14th single backs live... (continues laughing) she graduated there [continues reading chuke profile]. yui-chan is someone really humble, you see. she never mentioned (how her grandfather is a JRA horse trainer) until it was close to my graduation
chuke: i thought that horse is yours alone, sugai-sama
yuuka: you didn't need to be so considerate of me! all i was doing just saying things like "hyakuman bariki!" or "ganbariki!", just kept saying how much i like horses
chuke: well, my age was also an issue, as i cannot mention horse racing until i turn 20 years old. i am only able to once i reached that age
yuuka: so there was too!? i've been really concerned about it... i've been feeling bad about it, of course, i do feel thankful as well... so with what feeling did you perceive "ganbariki"?
chuke: i'm the one who grew up with "ganbariki" ever since i was little so... i also did "powerful girl"... so i thought "ganbariki is so nice", and thinking of how much i'd like to use it
yuuka: you can freely use it in the future
chuke: I CAN!?
yuuka: i'd be happy if it can be passed on
chuke: when i graduated from the group, or rather, when we celebrated my birthday, sugai-san gave me a horse badge as a present. i wear it today in commemoration of my first work
yuuka: that too, is what makes her such an adorable junior. that makes me so happy! it looks great on you!
chuke: thank you very much
yuuka: i hope that you can leap even further ahead in the future
chuke: this is why she makes for such a wonderful senior. thank you very much
yuuka: [mentions chuke's horse-related jobs and acquittances in the industry] i'd be happy if you could continue using that badge from now on whenever you have horse-related job!
chuke: i plan to! thank you very much
yuuka: i do hope that we may one day work together, as i have taken the liberty of purchasing it in pair...
chuke: that makes me so happy to hear!
yuuka: yui-chan will be joining me in my radio event as well
chuke: i was really shocked to receive your offer! thank you very much!
yuuka: likewise!
chuke: i often receive hear the fans, buddies, talk to me about how much they want to see me work together with sugai-san. that's why it makes me really happy to be able to appear in the same event as you
yuuka: thank you! i'll be great if we could turn it into an exciting event
chuke: i will do my best!
[yuuka and chuuke pouring each other beer]
chuke: i'm really happy. it's a rare opportunity to be able to enjoy beer with sugai-san like this
yuuka: the first time i met you, you were 16 years old?
chuke: crazy! i was in 2nd year of high school
yuuka: but for me you never changed, in a good meaning, you are always the "cute chuke" for me. 1ki members had the "takemoto yui appreciation club" and as a member of said group, i have always adore her unchanging cuteness
chuke: they always spoil me so much. it seemed that not many still remember about it
yuuka: we still have the group, it's not deleted lol
chuke: i never went with any of the seniors for a meal, it was like something in name-only lol
yuuka: there were about six of us? in the group, with sato shiori as the person who started it
chuke: wasn't sugai-san the leader?
yuuka: i was!?
chuke: i think i heard from somewhere that you were the leader
yuuka: wait what!? i didn't even know that. i was the leader?
chuke: fuyuka-san called you the leader
yuuka: i see... then i need to get it moving again. i see, so saito fuyuka was a part of it too
chuke: yeah, saito fuyuka-san and sato-san, uemura-san and such
yuuka: right, a very adorable close-up picture of yui-chan is the icon of the group. we talked in the group before...
chuke: so the activity comes in wave?
yuuka: we do plan of continuing from now on
chuke: thank you very much for always spoiling me
yuuka: to me, yui-chan is such an accomplished junior. i thought of you that way since the first time we met. you are, after all, as a part of 2ki-- the first juniors that i have. you really loved keyakizaka, and it made me so happy to hear you frankly talk about it
chuke: i even went to handshake events, so it was a very dream-like moment for me when meeting the seniors for the first time, and seeing all of you standing before me. i was sobbing hard!
yuuka: i remembered that, how you sobbed
chuke: i was like, "omg they are the real deals". so for about the first year, it really felt like being in a fantasy. and my mom was sugai-san's oshi since like, forever
yuuka: i'm so grateful! so she has always been a fan of me?
chuke: yeah, even now she oshi you. and you even went and meet with my brother younger, you are very considerate toward my family
yuuka: he's so cute! and yui-chan liked shii-chan, didn't you?
chuke: yes, i entered as sato shiori oshi
yuuka: when i graduated, i received a letter from her mom. even now it still decorate my desk
chuke: eh!!! there's no need to do that!!! my mom gonna cry!!!
yuuka: i always feel thankful for it
chuke: thank you very much. for me, sugai-san is really someone that i can respect. when you graduated, i felt so lonely about it that i cried, the most i ever cried for the graduation of a senior. when we completed our final tour together, the realization of your graduation hits me and i cried so hard i couldn't walk. meanwhile, sugai-san kept pushing my back and walk with me foward, and video of it really circulated around. that clip is on like, tiktok and such, pretty much a stock footage at this point! you know it right? when the fans edited the videos along with music [FMVs lol]
yuuka: that sounds so funny, i will look it up
chuke: i really found a lot of it. so yeah, that is just how much i love you
yuuka: i'm really thankful, and i was shocked to hear of your graduation! when i saw it in the news i was like, "eh! yui-chan!? that's faster than i imagine!"
chuke: right, i've been told a lot that it happens so early
yuuka: since when did you decide on it?
chuke: i've relayed it from about 1,5 years ago. as i have been able to experience many different things, and the juniors growing into such reliable presence, i made up my mind. i think that in this past ~1,5 years, i think that i have been able to finish (my activity) nicely whilst counting down the sceneries and concerts that i experienced
yuuka: i was really moved by the dance track during abura wo sase in your graduation ceremony, you know?
chuke: a-ah thank you very much! that makes me so happy to hear!
yuuka: like, "wow, we have choreographer among the members"
chuke: it's nothing... it was something that i didn't expect either. i did enter the group because i love to dance, but i never even dreamed of such thing. but ever since about 2 years ago, i've been given small opportunities of making my own choreography, and eventually even make one for all the members
yuuka: amazing... such a large number of people!
chuke: the formation was really difficult to decide. i made about 30 small papers with individual member name on it, and kept mixing it around in my place as i kept thinking like "this girl move here, then that girl here..." while moving each pieces
yuuka: it must have took a lot of time! and there were interactions as well
chuke: yeah, at the time of my graduation, since it will be my last one... i especially made sure to put in an interaction with each of my juniors
yuuka: i see, so it was a graduation version?
chuke; yes, the dance track was special only for that moment
yuuka: you did really well, it was really amazing! i could tell that everyone looks up to you, that you are such a great senior. to me, you're such an amazing junior, and it appears that your juniors also see you as such an amazing senior
chuke: to think that i will ever hear my senior say such words to me...!
yuuka: it is something that i sincerely think!
chuke: thank you very much!
yuuka: and from now on, i'm sure that you will even greater leaps ahead. you can do so many things that i wonder what do you have in mind? from variety, dancing, singing... horse racing, too!
chuke: i'm thinking of doing everything that you named just now
yuuka: ah! that is indeeed the "powerful girl"!
chuke: since when i graduated from sakurazaka i have cultivated many different skills, i've been able to appear in so many variety shows, even trying my hands on making dance choreography. as i have been given so many opportunities, i don't want to waste all those experience, so i decided to give my best to put them all to use!
yuuka: that's great!
chuke: i would like to do my best in horse-racing related jobs as well
yuuka: i'd be happy to see you in keiba beat as well, it's a kansai show after all
chuke; i'd be happy to!
yuuka: you might even able to stop by home
chuke: maybe i'll even go live from (shiga) lol, i can just home right after! by all means, come with me!
yuuka: that's so nice! take me! i want to meet your family, your mom again after a long while
chuke: please do! but yeah, i grew up watching keiba beat, so i'd be so grateful
yuuka: you have a horse that you oshi, right?
chuke: yes, a horse by the name of cosmo kuranda. it hasn't been doing well lately, but in last year arima kinen it managed to finish 2nd! thanks for that, even though he was such a black horse, i managed to earn some winnings
yuuka: amazing! must've felt amazing, huh?
chuke: it sure was!
yuuka: as it was a horse that you like, like, "i knew you can do it!"
chuke: yeah, because it's a horse that i've been a fan of. like, "you finally did it!". i think that the experience of oshiing a horse is quite close to oshiing an idol, i think that it has oshi-katsu elements to it as well. huh? you ask me what are cosmo kuranda's charms? i actually fell for it at first glance. it's something unusual, instead of liking it for what it does during race. i think it was during satsuki award, and jockeying it was moreira joao-- you see, i like moreira-san! at the time he was the one i oshi. they didn't win, they finished 2nd, and though that the time i didn't know a lot about cosmo kuranda, it stole my attention as it dashes from the back until the finish line. i was like, "huh!! that was so cool! what was that just now!?" and ever since then i started following it. it has been struggling since, but recently started to regain its power and and it makes me so happy to it showing what it can do in big race titles
yuuka: have you ever met your oshi?
chuke: no, not yet! i only ever seen it through the screens-- truly like an idol!
yuuka: i hope that one day you can meet it in person!
chuke: i'd love to! does sugai-san have an oshi horse as well?
yuuka: when i first become keiba beat's MC, my first ever oshi was liberty island. it was such an impressive horse, and i was able to meet it once before...
chuke: that's so nice... it's real meet & greet!
yuuka: i was able to meet it after its retirement, and i was so surprised! it got this aura... it was like it was a horse, but at the same time it also wasn't. it was like a monster
chuke: that much!?
yuuka: his iconic braided hair was so cool too, made my heart skip a beat when it looked at me... oh no! we're running out of time already? we had too much fun talking about horses... then about the event, is there anything that you want to do?
chuke: it might be nice to have a talk corner related to horse racing
yuuka: that'll be nice! but speaking of, as you just graduated, i do wish that you can take it easy...
chuke: thank you, but i will give it my best
[ED]
yuuka: being able to speak with yui-chan for a long time... and that it was yui-chan's first job after the change of agency (and grad), and hearing her said "it was so much fun!" after it ended... it made me really glad. and this month, somewhere within july, the two of us plan to celebrate her graduation. it's another thing to look forward to!
