nagi: i recently went to hokkaido, that was my first time going there. it was really fun and i was able to refresh myself. i went with endo riko and matono mio for three days and two nights. because of how vast hokkaido is, matono drove us for about an hour or more and took us to many different places. yes, i’m aware she’s younger than me, but she was so reliable.
we planned to do many different activities, but at the time the wind was so strong and the weather wasn’t good, even our plane was delayed for an hour or so. the activities that we booked got cancelled… but the weather cleared out on the third day! there is this lake in hokkaido, lake shikotsu, that has such clear water that you can see to the bottom of it.
the three of us rode a canoe that had a transparent bottom, allowing us to see deep into the lake! we didn’t know if we would be able to do it until that very day!
the lake was so pretty, and even though it was my first time riding a canoe, i was able to have so much fun and enjoyed the scenery. i’m always bad at dealing with bugs and animals, though as someone from nagano i have of course interacted with them, i still let out shrieks like the one you’d hear from horror movies.
but at hokkaido i’ve seen shrimps, birds, even deers… while of course i was scared, i was able to enjoy it too. we rode the canoe for like an hour, and other than us there was this couple riding too, and we all had a pleasant conversation together. even the instructor too!
i was riding with matono, while endo rode alone. after we finished canoeing, the three of us walked around for a bit, and when we were about to leave we happened to meet that couple again. we thought we’d be able to thank them for before when they suddenly ran toward us and say, "Actually, we are fans. we have been to your concert more than 20 times already". we quickly excused ourselves after that, hurriedly saying, “thank you very much!".
it turned out that one of them is a buddies… it seems that they are hiding it so that we could have fun, not sharing it at all. i did thought that they seemed like a quiet person… then they reached out to us like that. it made me happy too, it’s heartwarming that we were able to meet our fans on a private trip. we are grateful to have experienced the beauty of hokkaido and the kindness of buddies
ito: this year i turned 20! i spoke with my mom about my coming of age ceremony, and i don’t think i’d be able to attend because of work, but a furisode has been prepared. it’s the same one as what my mom wore before, which was also worn by my big sister. when i said i wanted to wear it too, we ended up doing a maedori (doing a photoshoot to celebrate the coming of age in advance)
nagi: so you went back to hiroshima?
ito: yeah, i went back a bit for it. my grandpa was the one who bought that furisode, so i went to show my grandpa and grandma as well. but there was something that troubled me… because it was a photoshoot, they would ask questions like “are you a student?" and stuff, right? i decided to go with, "i’m an active student, a university student!”
ito: but of course, we are already used to knowing how to pose and such, right? when i started adjusting my angle and pose, they said, “you seemed used to this". so i said, " i studied this”, as in majoring in beauty work and such. after that they started instructing me the poses and i do them right away, and they said, “you’re really used to this, are you a model?”. and i was like, “uhh i did for a bit" and they asked if i’m working as a model and i said, "uhhh no i’m a student”. i keep lying even though i know it must be obvious that i’m lying. what would you do, nagi?
nagi: i liked too, like itoha, but in the end i explained the truth and apologized for it. you didn’t tell them?
ito: since i lied to them the whole time, it was awkward for me to find the timing to come clean…
nagi: i’m sure they will probably find out…
ito: at the end, they asked if there is any pose that i would like to do, but i declined. after it’s over, my mom who came with me said, “you should’e did the sakura pose", but i wasn’t able to… i hope that i can show the pictures to fans one day, maybe i will!
topic of the week: itoha and nagi trying to find similarities between them, using Y/N questions from listeners
YES: eats a ton before an important photoshoot
ito: ofc this happened. we even did this together before
nagi: and it was before 3ki’s first important photohsoot…
ito: it was for each individual 3ki’s reveal photo. the night before that we ate a ton of udon together, as well as karaage
nagi: crazy! at the time we had no awareness of how important that is. we didn’t even know that we'd get chubby. i think there were seven of us who ate udon together? and it was after we went to watch the illuminations too
ito: yeah, after several 3ki went to look at illumination lights together, we were like, “don’t you feel like eating udon?” and we went together, i even added tempura add-on
nagi: we also eat oily food like karaage and niku udon
ito: we didn’t think about it, and then we all got chubby
YES: when i try to call for a member, i call them with the wrong name
ito: yeah
nagi: i wonder why…. especially mio / miu, rika / riko for me. i got them wrong a lot. and a lot of girls looks similar from behind, everyone have tall stature and lean shoulders
ito: for some reason, i keep mixing up yamashita shizuki and morita hikaru-san again and again. maybe because they are both small? once i hugged morita-san from behind while going “shizuki~" then i was like “o-oh, sorry!!!"
nagi: even though she’s your senior!? i’m sure morita-san must have been shocked as well
ito: or like going “thankies~" because i thought she’s shizuki… i just keep messing up
nagi: wait, so you never mistakenly call someone with the wrong name?
ito: if i don’t know who that is, i cycle through everyone’s name. " rika! eh, riko! um, mio! nagi! who are you again!?”
nagi: i know this! ito-chan often says members' names in a chain like this! and she never apologized too!
ito: i just throw all the names out there
nagi: while i throw all the apologies
Q i’m bad at organizing and my table is always full of things
nagi: yes
ito: no
nagi: i’m always clean at work or school, but at home, since no one is looking, i just put everything that i might use later
ito: that’s so cool. Meanwhile at my home, you can say that wiping things clean is my speciality. my place is clean
nagi: right, i heard before that ito-chan’s place is clean!
ito: after i started living on my own, i came to realize that i hate having a dirty surrounding, so i started trying to keep things clean. my mom is strict about cleanliness, even though i think it’s clean already, she doesn’t think so!
nagi: i get it!
ito: like, why isn’t it clean enough!?
nagi: sometimes my mom comes over to my place, and even though i told her that it;s clean, she still say that it’s dirty. well, i suppose that they say that because they are moms
ito: yeah. we accept it with “okay", but actually we still don’t understand why
nagi: apparently out of 10 questions, we give the same answers for seven!? that much!?
ito: we are basicaly the same person, then!? wanna be precure?
nagi: LOL i’m so happy! i didn’t think that we are so alike
ito: well, we have been spending so much time together that we ended up being similar to each other
nagi: seriously… i think that we are all so similar
